Welcome to the Sitka Suite, located on the top floor of our home, fully-contained private 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite.

From the moment you step inside, you'll feel at home in this thoughtfully designed suite. With a full kitchen, spacious living areas, and all the amenities you need for comfort and elegance, the Sitka Suite promises a truly relaxing stay for you and your companions.

Set on 1.2 acres of lush greenery with stunning ocean views and snow-capped mountains of Vancouver Island, the Sitka Suite offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and tranquility.

Our property also features two other suites, however, allowing you to maintain your privacy while sharing the spacious outdoor amenities.

As your hosts, we’re available to ensure you have a comfortable and memorable stay. We respect your privacy but are always just a message away if you need anything during your time with us.

Guest Access

Available to all guests, Arbutus Cove Retreat features spacious outdoor amenities, including a BBQ area where you can grill up a feast, a sunset deck down at the beach for breathtaking views, a hot tub to unwind under the stars, and a fire pit for cozy evenings spent with loved ones.

Other Things to Note

Although Powell River is on the mainland, it will require a couple of ferry rides (Horseshoe Bay to Langdale and Earl's Cove to Saltery Bay) to get to it because it is not directly linked with the rest of the provincial road network.

By Air: Pacific Coastal Airways & Habour Air
By Car / Ferry: BC Ferries

In the summer months it’s a good idea to make a ferry reservation from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. Reservations are not available on the 2nd leg, from Earls Cove to Saltery Bay.

If you’re planning on swimming is a good idea to bring water shoes.

Arbutus Cove Retreat is pet friendly, however, please note the property is not fenced in.

House Rules

- No unregistered guests allowed. The maximum suite capacity is 6 people.

- Pets allowed, but please don’t let them up onto the furniture, especially sofas and beds.

- Pet fees apply.

- Clean up after your pet, and put “poop” bags in the designated area.

- No glass near or in the hot tub (plastic glasses are provided).

- No shoes allowed in the house.

- Do not hang towels over the cables on the deck.

- Don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.

- Respect the noise curfew of 10pm.

- Please be conscious of the guest in the suite above or below and reduce noise levels where possible.

- Do your dishes before checkout.

- Take the trash out before checkout, leave on the front porch.

- No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

- Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner.

- Damages exceeding the security deposit amount must be paid by guests and will be reported to Airbnb.

SALT WATER HOT TUB: (from the ocean)
- The hot tub is emptied and refilled every 5 days as it is chemical free

- Shower with soap & rinse your feet before climbing in the hot tub

- Enjoy the hot tub at your own risk, no children allowed

- We are not responsible for accidents or injuries

- Do not bring glass near or in the hot tub (plastic cups provided)

- Replace the hot tub cover after each use

- Do not sit or lie down on the hot tub cover

- Do not use soaps or oils in the hot tub
