My wife and I manage this property for the owners(also witnesses). The house is quite unique and perfect for large groups whether family, friends or congregation. There is a large 140’x40’ parking area for 15 cars or more. You will probably have some questions, feel free to give me a call or email, happy to assist.

The Space:
Welcome to this Historic estate dating back to 1790 in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Set on 2.5 parklike acres w/centuries old trees, there’s plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beauty of this area. Min’s to New Paltz, the Shawangunk Mtns, wedding venues, restaurants, wineries, orchards and farms. 14 bdrm, 6400 sf, 22 beds, incl/two separate apt’s and multipurpose room, this stunning and unique property is the ideal place for groups of up to 37!
Stepping through the 1790 Stone House”original 4’ entry door you will be greeted with elegant charm and beauty by the vaulted foyer w/chandelier. Relax in the cozy living room with friends and family watching a movie on the 55”Smart TV while enjoying the warmth of the pellet stove w/viewing window. The formal dining room offers a large table with extra leaves for the whole family to sit around. Prepare your meals in the fully stocked gourmet kitchen, including a double oven and gas cooktop. Enjoy breakfast and wake up with your coffee and tea(both provided)in the sunlit breakfast nook just off the kitchen, with views of the beautiful grounds.
Up the cherry bannister stairway to the second floor are four lovely bedrooms. One room has a king bed and also a trundle with a pair of twins. The other three rooms have a queen bed in each. Two of these rooms also have a full, on suite bathroom. There is a third full bathroom off the hall, as well as a nice washer/dryer, ironing board, iron etc.
Continuing up the central staircase to the top floor are eight additional bedrooms, “the Orchard Rooms”, all decorated in Classic Farmhouse. Six of the rooms have queen beds. Two of the rooms have a pair of twins in each. Half of the rooms have their own sink and mirror with hot and cold water. Go downstairs or stay right here to relax and enjoy the top floors living area, complete with sofas, 55” smart TV and dining area w/table and chairs, fridge, microwave, toaster and provided coffee and tea station. Just off of the living area are 2 full bathrooms with showers, plus two additional half baths, and a second locked and private stairwell leading down to an entrance/exit to the parking lot.

The Suite:
Ground floor 1 bdrm apartment. Sleeps 6:
Separate entrance. Off of parking lot. Large, lots of natural light with French doors and sliding doors leading to outside seating area. Second set sliding doors to personal patio with chairs and bbq grill. Full kitchen stocked with cooking utensils. King bed in bedroom. The large living room has a very nice Queen sleeper sofa and a Queen futon. 55” Smart TV. Low lip shower stall. Great for a couple, family or guests that cannot go up stairs. There is also a washer/dryer in this unit, as well as iron, ironing board, hair dryer.
“The Spring House Suite”. 2nd floor apartment. 1 bedroom, sleeps 5:
Full of country charm. Separate entrance. King bed in bedroom and Queen futon, twin bed, 27” smart TV in living room. Full stocked kitchen with breakfast items included. Iron, ironing board, hair dryer.
Bridal Studio/multipurpose room:
Separate exterior entrance, also connects on interior to the Main House kitchen and living room. Elegant, hardwood floors, full of light and furnished with a nice sofa, coffee table and bistro table and chairs. For hair and makeup there are plenty of tables and chairs along a mirrored wall with plenty of outlets. Coffee and tea station with everything needed also provided, as well as a mini fridge and microwave. There is also a half bathroom and a 50” Smart TV. This versatile room can become anything you need it to be from a bridal readying room to hanging out, eating or dancing to corporate work/collaborative meetings, classes and seminars and much more.
Altogether the house is over 6,400 sq ft, it has 14 bedrooms(each with own keycode lock for privacy when desired. There are 10 bathrooms, 22 beds and it can sleep 37 with plenty of room.
The Grounds: All guests can enjoy the expansive 2.5 park-like acres, grills, rocking chairs, outdoor seating and picnic tables, yard games, hammocks, and centuries old trees. In winter plenty of room for kids or the young at heart to build a snowman, warm up around the firepit, slide on the snow down the gentle sloping section of the back yard or have an epic snow ball fight:)
Minutes off of the NY State Thruway exit 18. Under 2 hrs by train from NYC Grand Central to Poughkeepsie train station via Metro North Hudson line. Then just 15 minutes by car(Uber etc) to the house. Close to nice restaurants and stores but in the country enough that the stars shine bright at night. Your trip will be a memorable one at the Elixir Spring House.

Guest Access
Your group will have exclusive use of the house, property and grounds. For privacy, room has its own lock w/coded keypad.
Interaction with Guests
My wife and I live close by and are available for any needs that come up.
Other Things to Note
Most rooms require guests be able to climb stairs. There is one ground floor room, it’s actually one of the apartments and has no steps.
The Neighborhood
Quiet, somewhat rural but close to town for groceries, restaurants etc.
Getting Around
We are just a 15 minute drive from the Poughkeepsie train station. By car we’re just a few minutes off the I-87 thruway exit 18 for New Paltz.
